Art from Hock to Kirchner

We auction your art, regardless of whether it is an opulent Baroque painting, a Biedermeier genre painting or even the work of a contemporary artist. We are particularly interested in the art of the 20th century with its movements Expressionism, Impressionism, New Objectivity and Abstraction. As much as we would like it, it doesn't necessarily have to be the world-famous local heroes Ernst Ludwig Kirchner and Christian Schad. And just imagine: Now you have the opportunity to consign a work by the Aschaffenburg city portraitist Adalbert Hock to an Aschaffenburg auction house! High-quality works on paper such as watercolors, gouaches and prints are also included in the auction.

In the area of furniture and furnishings, we are interested in small pieces of furniture from all eras. Specifically, we are talking about furniture from the Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Art Deco, but also unusual design objects from the 50s to modern times. We spontaneously think of a console table from the Empire or the elegant Biedermeier chest of drawers, the buffet from the Darmstadt Art Nouveau, the unusual Thonet chair or the classic “Lounge Chair” by Ray Eames or the Barcelona Chair by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe – just to name a few to give some examples.

What makes collectors' hearts beat faster

One of our specialties is Art Nouveau and Art Deco silver, but we are also happy to include very early exhibits such as a baroque Nuremberg silver jug in our auctions. Even if you would like to have your silver cutlery auctioned off to the highest bidder, you have come to the right place. From the silver cigarette case to the finely chiselled attachment bowl - we always try to achieve the best possible price for you. Glass art from Moser to Murano, whether decorative or practical objects or, for example, an Art Nouveau vase by Lötz or Jean Daum, can be delivered to our house. A big topic, especially when it comes to estates, is jewelry. Our employees will be happy to take a look at it and discuss with you the ways of marketing the bracelet or necklace, the filigree pendant, the gold women's and men's rings and much more. Here it is initially irrelevant whether it is antique jewelry, vintage or modern jewelry. The quality determines the price. We like old pocket watches just as much as wristwatches from the following brands: Breitling, TAG Heuer, Audemars Piguet, Rolex, & Omega and many others.

The same applies to high-quality porcelain. From the Meißner porcelain figurine, or Meissen to Allach porcelain to the KPM souvenir cup - don't hesitate to visit us. Collectible items such as stoneware figures e.g. B. the manufactories Damm, Höchst or faience always meet with great interest.

Be it a masterpiece or a curiosity-

The customer is our focus. Another area of our auction house is curiosities. In addition to electrifying machines or old chocolate machines, we are always on the lookout for unusual pieces such as: B. a carbide lamp for penny farthings or an antique fortune telling machine. We have particular expertise in the area of old advertising, from advertising posters to old enamel signs to advertising figures, we are interested in individual objects or entire collections. In the toys section we are always looking for old tin toys from the brands Lehmann, Tippco, Karl Bub, Bing or Distler, to name just a few examples. We are also happy to include the old Märklin railway from the basement in our catalog. True to the motto “The stranger, the better,” we also like to look at nameless and unbranded objects. You can also inspire us with old technology such as polyphons, early slot machines, pinball machines or jukeboxes. The “Varia” category brings together all auction objects that cannot be assigned to any of the previous subject areas, but are nevertheless suitable for arousing the interest of buyers in the context of an international auction. There are plenty of examples of this: a Montblanc writing instrument, walking sticks, delicate gold and silver snuffboxes, singing bird machines, seals, miniatures, coin scales, bronze mortars and much, much more. If you have an object that goes in this direction, then just come to us! We look forward to being able to help you!
