Cancellation policy for the consumer (purchase of an auction catalogue)

Right of withdrawal If the customer is a consumer, he can withdraw his contractual declaration within one month without giving reasons in text form (e.g. letter, fax, e-mail) or by returning the goods. The period begins on the day after the goods have been received by the customer and the customer has received this cancellation policy.

To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send the cancellation or the goods in good time.

The right of withdrawal does not apply, however, in the exceptional cases regulated by law, in particular in the case of contracts for the delivery of goods that are manufactured according to customer specifications or for goods that are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the customer or for goods that are not suitable for return due to their nature or II Consequences of withdrawal In the event of an effective withdrawal, the services already received must be returned and any benefits derived (e.g. interest) must be surrendered.

If the customer is unable to return the received service in whole or in part or only in a deteriorated condition, he may be required to pay compensation for the loss in value.

This does not apply to the transfer of goods if the deterioration (or loss) of the goods is solely due to their inspection – as would have been possible in a shop, for example – or if the deterioration of the goods was caused by their intended use.

Items that can be sent by parcel must be returned, whereby the seller bears the shipping risk.

The customer must bear the costs of return if the goods delivered correspond to those ordered and if the price of the item to be returned does not exceed EUR 40.00 or if, in the case of a higher price of the item, the customer has not yet paid the consideration or a contractually agreed partial payment at the time of cancellation.

Otherwise, the return shipment is free of charge for the customer. Items that cannot be sent by parcel will be collected from the customer.
